Tiiva is a Bristol based electronic producer and artist who pairs euphoric sound with reflective lyricism to devastating effect, as can be heard on their latest single ‘TORNADOS’. Big, bright synthesisers pump and glow while a huge kick and snare stomp onwards, Tiiva’s highly emotional and theatrical vocal delivery floating above it all ethereally. The song is forward thinking and explorative, yet stands upon the shoulders of some of the most innovative artists of days gone by, this is how the eighties wish they sounded. Following last year’s debut EP Fireflies, ‘TORNADOS’ is the first single to be revealed from sessions with Moritz Kerschbaumer on co-production. “Tornados is about possibility and hope through hedonism and thinking about the different directions you can take” explains Tiiva, “It's inspired from spiritual ideals of using intuition instead of influence, listening to primal voices and leaning into self trust and belief to keep going when things are difficult or confusing in life.” -Adam Brown
